Randomland Is Sprawling

Randomland is slowly starting to sprawl. As Web2.0 becomes boring, Randomland will catch up (we like being out of phase, ok?) Today, I set up a YouTube Channel. Here we will post videos of Francine, fire, go-karts...you name it!

FYI, I have started using the moniker randomnets for 3rd party services. What other services could help us provide more dynamic content and get our name about on the interwebs? Please, chime in by leaving a comment. (As always, registration is free)

iPhone MMS, Finally

iPhone MMS. Wow.

AT&T finally got around to letting their highest paying customers, that of the Apple iPhone to send picture messages. Europe has had it for months; nearly every other phone on every provider has provided it for years. So yeah, you can finally send me a picture message. Hooray.

Harbor Freight Magnesium Fire-starter Review

I recently bought the cheapest magnesium fire-starter I could find. Obviously then it came from Harbor Freight. Everyone's favorite purveyor of tools that are just barely adequate and nothing more. Here I offer my first thoughts on this shiny, new marvel of modern mass-production and third-world labor.

Techno Game Music

Years ago, I created some bad techno using a program known as FruityLoops (known today as FLStudio). I have posted them on Randomland before, but files get shuffled and lost often. But they're back! From now on, you can count on homemade music being linkable from randomland.net/downloads/music.

Turtle Turtle

Two tiny little turtles have recently come to be in my care, they are western pond turtles. I was surprised by how very very small they are. I believe them to be about two months old and still no larger then a silver dollar.
