Just Don't Elect Chocolate and Hot Sauce

On this election day, I discovered something new -- chocolate and hot sauce are not a good combination. My political rants have been strangely few this election season. It's not that I have no opinion on who our next president should be. I just don't believe the Democrats or the Republicans are any longer reputable enough to vote for. Last time, I wrote little satirical pieces every few weeks to dispel my angst towards the political system. This time I just have a general queasiness and lack of wittiness. The two major political candidates seem busy at promoting themselves and closing their ears to the common man's point of view. "Underwhelming" is a good word to describe my urge to vote for either candidate. I broke down last night and filled out my ballot, saving "President" for last. It was kind of like choosing between vomit and diarrhea -- neither would have been preferable. I'll complain more tomorrow when we know whether it's coming up or coming out. Oh yeah, and like I said before, don't mix chocolate and hot sauce. It does not taste all that good.
