New Raptor Egg?

Being at home sick, lethargic, and unable to concentrate of anything of use, I hopped on to Newegg this afternoon. Mistakenly hitting the 'v' key, I noticed that the first suggested result is 'velociraptor.' Is there really that much demand for raptors?! Smile

Unfortunately, it seems these raptors aren't dinosaurs at all. They are just boring, Western Digital hard drives.

Itching for a Project Again

Not too long ago, I had a burst of enthusiasm and (with help), created an indoor bike stand. More recently, I installed a new car stereo and radiator in my wife's car (radiator was a not-so-planned project). As minor as these things are, the thrill of accomplishment is still fresh in my mind and I'm searching for another.

Merry Christmas!

Hey everybody, just wanted to toss out a Merry Christmas to the randomnets. And Happy New Year!

Bothered to Get a Haircut

For the longest time, apathy won over my urge to get a haircut. After all, isn't it much more economical to not get one's hair cut? Well, I finally gave in and got my hair cut. But fear not! Apathy is still winning in many other arenas of my life and I don't even care. Smile

December Chills

It's been abnormally cold around here lately. Depending on which online weather report I check, the temperature is sitting somewhere between 12° and 14°F. Maybe someday I'll get my very own thermometer and stick it outside my very own window Smile Until then, I'll just trust that senses are correct in telling my it's bitingly cold outside when I open the door (and I guess I'll trust my internets, a little). Regardless, sub-teen temperatures have not been normal for the mid Willamette Valley, Oregon for as long as I can recall (which is only about 10-15 years since I didn't care much before I was, say, 10 years old).
